Hummus

Hummus is the one recipe that my husband taught me that I have kept in my recipe repertoire.  The great thing about hummus is that it not only is easy (my 4-year old loves to make it with very little help from me), but so customizable.  This is a base recipe for hummus. You can add more or less seasoning, or a whole variety of herbs to make it to fit your personal taste. Top it with roasted red peppers or pesto instead of pine nuts. Make it personal, and enjoy!
