Ingredients
- 10-12 fresh jalapeños
- 8 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp. smoked paprika
- salt & pepper, to taste
Preparation

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

2Slice jalapeños in half lengthwise and de-seed/de-vein them.

3Soak jalapeño halves in a bowl of cold water (this will remove some of the spiciness).

4In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese and onion powder together.

5In a separate bowl, mix breadcrumbs, paprika and salt and pepper.

6Fill jalapeño halves with about 1 Tbs. of cheese mixture.

7Roll the cheese side of each jalapeño half into the breadcrumbs to give a crunchy top.

8Lay out poppers on a baking sheet covered in parchment paper.

9Bake for 8-10 mins at 400 until they start to bubble.

10Turn oven to broil and let cook for 3-5 minutes until golden and crispy on top.

11Serve with ranch or marinara.
